The project aims to revolutionize requirements engineering practice by leveraging advanced language models; it also strives to make AI-based systems more trustworthy.
About
Title: Prompt Me: Intelligent Software Agent for Requirements Engineering
Duration: 2024-2026
Summary:
Requirements Engineering (RE) is a cornerstone of software development, ensuring that systems align with user needs. However, in a digital landscape where popular apps like WhatsApp serve over 2.7 billion users, collecting and analyzing user feedback is increasingly complex. With more than 15,000 comments submitted daily, the task of managing this information manually is both impractical and costly.
Previous approaches have primarily focused on analyzing user feedback rather than enhancing user engagement on a larger scale. Existing tools often fall short in functionality and performance, leaving critical aspects of RE unaddressed.
This project aims to explore innovative solutions that will redefine how software professionals engage with users. By utilizing advanced large language models, the focus will be on improving social interactions and enhancing the RE process. This fresh perspective on RE practices will aim to create methods that empower developers to effectively capture and address user requirements.
Through empirical evaluations, the effectiveness of these new strategies will be assessed, paving the way for new RE methods that resonate with real-world applications.
